Digital Signage at the University of Wuppertal
The university's digital signage system consists of more than 15 large displays installed at central locations on Grifflenberg, Freudenberg and Haspel. Information about the university, its faculties, facilities, events, staff and students is presented. The program is supplemented by a wide range of service information, such as national news, bus and train departure times and weather data. The press office is responsible for selecting the news, dates and service messages from the university shown on the displays. It uses the published press releases and the dates in the university calendar of events as a guide, formulates suitable texts for the medium, selects photos or graphics and is responsible for compliance with the design and content guidelines.
